We are devoted to the study of Traditional Japanese Karate for self defense, fitness, and fun. We welcome beginners and all other styles of martial arts. Learn to protest yourself while staying in shape and making new friends.

Our members receive some of the highest quality karate instruction in the nation from Senseis with decades of experience. We offer classes three days a week, for beginner to advanced levels.

Interested in joining, but not sure if karate is right for you? Come and see what it’s all about! Your first day of practice is free, and you may join at any point in the semester – just show up! Wear workout clothes – uniforms can be purchased later if you decide to join.
Karate is an excellent means of self-defense, but the focus of this art, as practiced in our dojo, emphasizes physical fitness, self-confidence, and perfection of character. These principles are further emphasized due to the magnitude and potential power of the techniques we learn.
